If you own a Blackberry Playbook or a Blackberry 10 enabled device, I have some good news. The Good e-Reader APK to BAR converter tool is now available once again. This free online software allows anyone to convert an Android file to a BAR file.
We first developed this tool four years ago, when the Blackberry Playbook first came out and we were the first company in the world to take a very complicated script and make it accessible. Millions of users and developers have employed our APK to BAR converter to test apps and install them on their Playbook and any Blackberry 10 device.
The primarily reason why we made this tool was because Blackberry World is a barren wasteland and hardly anyone was actively developing apps for it. If you still use your Playbook, there hasn’t been a new app submitted to the Blackberry Store in a very longtime and if you own a Blackberry 10 device, Amazon’s catalog is fairly lackluster.
If Blackberry World and the Amazon App Store does not have the app you want, or the developers are slow about issuing updates you can simply upload the APK file to our website and automatically convert it to a BAR file. Once this is done you can simply use our sideloading software and send the app right to your device. We have plenty of video tutorials that walk you through the process.
You might be asking yourself, why did we bring this tool back? Well, for the last four months it has been completely down and unavailable because hosting fees for a dedicated Windows server was very high and the revenue from the script was fairly low. It took us awhile to find a hosting provider that offered enough storage for our needs and unlimited bandwidth, at a solid price.
We hope you all enjoy the tool and this service will be freely available until the end of time.
