Best Buy was to start accepting pre-orders for the HTC Flyer tablet and the pre-order process has gone off to a timely start. This includes the HTC page dedicated to the Flyer tablet PC going live, though not before this last weekend. The pre-order process itself started on the 25th of April. Also, as has already been mentioned here before, the Wi-Fi only version is the only one on offer for a price of $499. However, it’s still some time before the tablet actually reaches consumers, as the 7 inch Gingerbread tablet is not expected to start shipping before May 22.
