Here is one more video of the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet in action. Not that videos of the upcoming tablet from RIM has been in short supply but the one thing that was missing was actual footage of the tablet in operation in portrait mode. The current video should be enough to fill that void though unfortunately things does not look as impressive as it is when the PlayBook is held in landscape mode. It is this that perhaps explains why the tablet was never brought out in public held in vertical position. So its like RIM still has some job to do with the PlayBook to function as seamlessly as it does when it is held in horizontal position. Hopefully, all of these gets sorted out before the tablet is actually released. More so since it actually is a lot more convenient to type into the tablet via the on-screen keyboard as in a smartphone when held in portrait orientation due to its relatively narrow size.
Till then, enjoy the video here though you will have to fast forward 10 min 55 sec if you are just too impatient to catch the tablet in action in portrait mode right away.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
