USA owners can be glad to know that the latest update to Google Android will enable owners to finally take advantage of their MicroSD card. Right now we have confirmation that Xoom WIFI owners are getting pushed over the air updates right now. It looks like Verizon 3G owners will have to continue to wait a few days until the update is optimized for the hardware.
It’s weird to think that it has been almost 4 months since the Motorola Xoom first came out and has not had SD card support all this time. One of the boons has been people discovering cloud storage options that they would not normally have ventured throughout the internet to find, had they not needed a workable storage solution.
