Motorola has made its XOOM tablet a bit more endearing by offering a steep discount on its price. However, the price cut announced is not uniform as the price that online stores are displaying against the XOOM at their sites varies to quite an extent though all of them are indicating the reduced price.
Koovs is one such site where one can pick up the Xoom Wi-Fi with 32 GB memory for INR 21,500 while the same is showing a price of INR 25,000 for the Xoom WiFi + 3G version. Flipkart is showing INR 26,500 for the WiFi + 3G version of the Xoom. 16 GB version of the Xoom tablet is out of stock and no site lists the item.
The prices mentioned above for the Xoom tablets are substantially lower than what it retailed for when first launched. The tablet used to be available for INR 33,000 which was for the 3G version while the same with just Wi-Fi functionality came for INR 31,000. However, lest you believe the price cut has been done to clear off existing stocks and that the tablet might soon be a piece of junk in a Tegra 3 / Android 4.0 era, well Mototola has announced the tablet will upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich. Currently the tablet runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
