Here is something to cheer you up if reports of repeated delays has put you off. Micro Star International(MSI) has announced they are almost done with the tablet PC they were developing and will be all set to invade markets by the spring of 2011. However, it will only be the tablet running Android that they will be ready with while ruling out a similar device running Windows 7.
It was just a few days back that we had reported leaked images of the MSI tablet and frankly speaking, it was a bit of a surprise to come across news so soon of MSI actually going ahead with their launch plans. Advanced prototypes of the tablet will be ready by December itself and will be there at CES 2011 to be witnessed first hand.
As for the tablet, it will run the next generation Android 3.0 Gingerbread, have a 10.1 inch display along with built-in USB and HDMI ports. The tablet is also expected to be priced below $500 to ensure it starts off its market campaign with a price advantage against the iPad. Further details of the tablet is awaited.
Also, for those who have been waiting for the Windows version of the tablet, well there is still hope in that MSI is not completely ruling out such a device but has stated further development on it will commence only after taking into account market realities and consumer demand.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
