Skytex has released a few e-readers and Android tablets so far and are going to be releasing their S-Series Windows 7 tablet in the next few weeks. Their new tablet should provide a solid offering because the company licensed the same UI found in the EXOPC tablet! This will insure a dedicated app market with touchscreen friendly apps! Today Skytex has just released a new video showing the S-Series tablet running Windows 8.
The company mentioned that “While Windows 8 works beautifully on the Skytab S-series tablet, Microsoft has yet to release final minimum hardware specifications, and there is no guarantee the Skytab will meet those requirements. However, the Skytab meets the requirements for the Windows 8 developer preview and could be used as a development reference/tool. The final release date of Windows 8 with the metro UI is unknown at this time.”
