Here is a classic good and bad news combo from Viewsonic – the G-Tablet is now up for sale at Sears for $379.99, which is less than what was expected. However, there is some confusion resulting from Sears is claiming that the Tegra II powered device is running Android 2.2. This, while it’s an Intel Atom N455 based tablet capable of dual booting both Windows 7 and Android 1.6. The present configuration isn’t bad, however, as Android 1.6 could not have delivered what Android 2.2 can. Still, we would like a word from either Sears or preferably from Viewsonic to confirm or deny which Android is available. Hopefully that comes quickly.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
