Word on the street is that the all new iPad 3 could be with us within the next 4-5 months. The time scale has been calculated on the basis of change in pattern observed among those in the supply chain who have now started to deliver the components required for the making of the next gen iPad to OEM contractors. Also, while production of components for the new iPad has picked up, the same for the current iPad 2 has dipped a bit as further proof of the coming of the new iPad.
Foxconn Electronics is all set to begin production of iPad 3 from January next while production will be increased further from February itself. Sources point out the new iPad production could reach 9.5-9.8 million during the Q1 2012. Similarly, OEM production of the current iPad 2 during Q4 2011 is likely to be around 14-15 million units but will shrink down to just about 4-5 million during Q1 2012 to pave the way for the new iPad 3.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
