Onyx Boox is going to be releasing a brand new e-note sometime in the next few months, called the Tab XC. It is very likely they will be using the same hardware specs as the Tab X, which came out awhile ago. However, this model will have a color e-paper display, making it easy to draw, view PDF files and read comics, magazines or textbooks.
The regular version of the black and white version of the Tab X has a 13.3″ HD Mobius flexible Carta1250 screen with glass cover-lens with a resolution of 2200 x 1650 Carta with 207 PPI. The color e-paper screen will use Kaleido 3 and will likely have a resolution of 825×1100 with 103 PPI and display 4096 colors. This is the same resolution has the Readmoo Mooink Pro 2C, which also has a 13.3 screen. It will have both cool and warm lighting.
The processor should use a Advanced Octa-core processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will have Bluetooth 5.1, WIFI, USB-C, dual speakers, microphone, g-sensor and a giant 6300 mAh battery. The Tab X was using Android 11, however it is likely it will be upgraded to 12 or even 13 when the color model releases sometime in the next few months.
