The Onyx Boox T13C high end smart office notebook which the company had unveiled a few weeks back is now available for sale. The e-note can be ordered for 5,999 yuan (823USD) though there is a launch offer applicable that brings the price down to 5499 yuan (754USD). It is not known though how long the launch offer is going to be available. The T13C can be ordered via JingDong or the Boox Shop.

The T13C otherwise impresses with its specs. It is being referred to as the world’s first e-note device that comes with a 13.3-inch Kaleido 3 display. As is already known, the K3 display supports 4096 colors and has a 300 PPI and 150 PPI resolution for B/W and color content. The display also comes with a microcrystalline etched glass cover, which makes the display sharp and crisp while still making it extremely eye-friendly.

The front light feature supports 32-level dual color temperature, which ensures you have the most optimum reading and writing experience, whether it’s out in the sun or in the dark. The accompanying stylus – Smart Pen Pro allows for a very natural writing feel, which mimics a real pen on paper. The pen offers vibration feedback and is the first Wacom stylus that simulates real handwriting with tactile feedback.

The 4:3 aspect ratio, along with the 13.3-inch expanse, is large enough for effective multitasking. Boox said the T13C is capable of four split-screen modes. Those include dual reading and note-taking, dual reading and translation, and dual application usage. You also have the option to adjust the split-screen ratios as per your needs for an enhanced multitasking experience. It also comes with a magnetic keyboard, which transforms the device into a notebook form factor.

Aiding in excellent readability is Boox’s proprietary Display Optimization Technology, which, along with the BSR-Motion+ High Frame Rate and High-Speed Refresh Technology, ensures faster page refresh times and hence a clean and fresh display at all times. The ghosting effect, which refers to the remnants of the previous display, is reduced to being almost non-existent.

Under the hood lies an advanced high-performance 2.8 GHz octa-core processor that works in tandem with a custom GPU. The processor boasts an ANTUTU score of above 500,000, which points to it being capable enough to deal with all office-related tasks with elan. There is 6 GB of RAM on board along with 128 GB of storage. No wonder, Boox is claiming the device to offer flagship-level performance.

Other features of the T13C include a quad-microphone system capable of capturing voice even in a multi-speaker environment, thanks to the advanced noise reduction algorithm it comes with. It can easily convert voice into text, besides also create a meeting summary using AI. You can also converse with the integrated generative AI feature and get your queries answered or get other work done.

Keeping the lights on is a 5500 mAh battery. It comes with dual stereo speakers and supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G & 5G) and Bluetooth 5.0. It runs the Boox OS, which is based on Android 13. The tablet measures 270.6 × 203 x 5.3 mm and weighs 625 grams. You can refer to the official Boox retail site for more information.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
