Amazon Reviews are the gold standard for determining if a product is good. Real people write reviews of e-readers, tablets, accessories, books, etc. Last year, Amazon released a new summary feature: AI-generated customer review highlights. The feature provides a short paragraph on the product detail page, highlighting shared positive, neutral, and negative customer opinions about a product and its features. Is this something you consider when buying something?
You can find the AI-generated customer reviews on the product page. Visit the customer reviews section, and some text at the top reads, “Customers say.” This paragraph is AI-generated and offers an overview of the verified reviews the product has received. Customer review highlights are available across a broad selection of products. If you are not seeing them, there may not have been enough reviews with shared mentions.
AI Reviews are primarily a mobile experience, but you can also see them online. However, the feature is only available in a handful of markets: the U.S., the UK, Australia, India, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. Amazon has not disclosed when it will roll out to Canada and other European countries.
