Those who intend to travel by Air Canada are in for a pleasant surprise. There are more in-flight entertainment options added in the form of access to Audible so that the flyers will now be able to listen to up to 160 hours of Canadian Audible Original audiobooks and podcasts. As PaxNews stated, the options are going to be varied so far as the book genres are considered, with titles on crime, comedy, adventure stories, sports, and almost everything else set to be available. Flyers will be able to listen to the audiobooks in either French and English languages. This makes Air Canada the first airline to forge a partnership with Amazon-owned Audible.
The 160 hours of Audible Original Audiobook and Podcast that flyers will have access to as part of the in-flight entertainment package Air Canada offers also includes 2,500+ hours of IFE in other forms. Those include more than 420 movies, 1000+ hours of TV episodes, more than 130 albums, podcasts, and such. Among the more well-known audiobook titles set to be available include Sidney Crosby: The Rookie Year, Seven Truths, Women Talking, Roudoudous en laponie, and Main-Basse sur le monde, to name a few. More titles are going to be added routinely. The goodies don’t end here as the flyers will also have two months of Audible membership completely free. That way, they will be able to continue listening to their favorite titles when at home as well.
“Audible is committed to creating exceptional listening experiences for its customers around the world – including as they travel for pleasure or business,” said Georgia Knox, Canada Country Manager at Audible. “Through our collaboration with Air Canada, we’re able to inspire, entertain, and inform more listeners than ever before on their journeys. With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
