Barnes and Noble has developed a new holiday commercial that stars Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett. In the commercial, Mr. Bennett and Lady Gaga separately walk the aisles of a fictitious Barnes & Noble store while looking for a gift for each other. As they browse, viewers hear them singing “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”
The commercial was conceptualized by Barnes and Noble founder Leonard Riggio and will debut Monday morning. This is the first big commercial the bookseller has released all year and they are betting that it will draw in more people for the lucrative holiday season.
