Boyue is designing a new UI for all of their e-readers. Their entire line of devices are all running Google Android 6.0 and in the next few weeks the Likebook Mars will be the first device that will be upgraded to Android 8.0. This will provide a tremendous advantage, because users will be able to run more apps, that require a modern version of Android. This includes Libby, Overdrive and many of Google’s own apps, such as Keep and Microsoft Onenote.
The Likebook Mars was one of the most commercially successful e-readers ever made. Hundreds of thousands of devices were sold and many people use it as a dedicated e-reader. Although Good e-Reader has not been privy of the new UI yet, we should post a preview of the new experience on October 25th.
If you want to get a taste of what the new UI and upgraded version of Android, you can purchase a Mars and save $70 when you purchase it from Good e-Reader. You can get it for $199.
