Meebook has been selling e-readers directly on Amazon for over a year, but the only available models were the M6 and M7 line; the current generation M8 and M8C were nowhere to be found, until now. The Meebook M8 is now available for purchase on the US version of the Amazon website and retails for $259.99.
The Meebook M8 was released in January and was initially available only in China. However, since it runs on Android, it does support every primary language. Why should you buy this model? The major selling points are the 2.2 GHZ octacore processor, 300 PPI, 256 levels of grey scale, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and full access to the Google Play Store. It is one of the few e-ink devices available that runs Google Android 14. You can read our comprehensive hands-on review and watch some videos on it.
