Online Bullying and violence are a big deal in the modern school and Overdrive wants to do something about it. Their next Big Library Read features a title by Marieke Nijkamp and it is called “This Is Where It Ends.”
Starting October 13 for a two-week period, readers across the globe will read and discuss this widely popular Young Adult eBook. More than 20,000 libraries and schools around the world in 32 countries are participating in Big Library Read.
Overdrive launched Big Library Read in 2013 and the premise was to make one e-book available for free, with unlimited simultaneous loans. The initial program was a tremendous success with over 25,000 people who read The Four Corners of the Sky by Michael Malone. The program has continued well into 2016 and it looks like Overdrive is continuing their relationship with Sourcebooks.
