3M has followed Overdrive’s lead with offering a new app for the Barnes and Noble Nook Tablet, Color, and HD tablets. This program will allow you browse your library’s selection of digital books and download them right to your device. It also has the ability to let you read the ebooks right on the app, giving users an easier way to manage the entire process.
“The 3M Cloud Library App offers Nook users seamless access to lendable ebooks through their local library,” said Tom Mercer, 3M Library Systems Digital Business Development Leader. “We’re excited to be once again improving the ebook experience for even more library users.”
“As the 3M Cloud Library system launches at libraries across the country, we gather feedback and translate it into updates and enhancements that make the system smoother, easier, and more intuitive,” said Matt Tempelis, 3M Cloud Library Global Business Manager. “We are proud of our position as a leader in this industry and will continue innovating to provide the best service possible for both library patrons and staff members.”
In recent days, 3M has rolled out a massive Penguin Pilot Program at the New York Public Library and the Brooklyn Library, but don’t forget 3M is also in a ton of smaller markets, like Alabama, Kansas, Tampa Bay, and others. You can download the app to your Nook Android device HERE.
