Amazon launched Prime Reading in Italy and Spain a few weeks ago and this program allows readers to have access to a myriad of audiobooks, comics, ebooks and magazines. There are 500 titles available in both languages from an array of local publishers and big name books that have been translated.
Some of the more notable books from Prime Reading are Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, The Assassination of Socrates by Marcos Chicot, American Gods by Neil Gaiman, The Brain of the Child by Daniel J. Siegel, After by Anna Todd, The Intelligent Investor, by Benjamin Graham, Captain Riley by Fernando Gamboa, comics such as Star Wars (Skywalker Strikes) or Hulk: Planet Hulk , and also Lonely Planet travel guides (in English) from popular destinations such as China, Canada, Cancun and Indonesia.
People who have Amazon Prime can have ten titles simultaneously in their library at any given time. They can be read on all of the Kindle e-Readers, Fire Tablets or the Kindle app for Android/iOS/PC. Amazon offers two Amazon Prime subscription plans: a monthly one of 4.99 euros and an annual one of 19.95 euros. The price of Prime is on the rise, it recently increased in the US and other European countries and industry analysts are alarmed that Spain might seemembership costs rising in the immediate feature.
