The New York Times has digitized over 17,000 recipes by diet, cuisine type, preparation method, meal type and more in a new iPhone app. You can save your favorite recipes to your own bookshelf or share them via Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest.
I think this app is beautifully done, with recipe intros by Times contributors. One of the more interesting features are daily delights where there are themed categories such as 12 veggie pizza recipes. The app presumes you know where your kitchen is and how to turn on stove. Beginners will really appreciate this app, but there are a number of elements catered for more advanced culinary specialists.
