The Barnes and Noble Nook UK Bookstore has officially closed and the bookseller has admitted they are ceasing all international expansion and focusing exclusively on the US market. Emails were supposed to be sent out to users a few weeks ago advising them on how to initiate the migration process to Sainsbury’s. It looks like it is taking longer than B&N and Sainsbury’s anticipated to finalize the technological framework to handle so many new users.
Barnes and Noble has confirmed to Good e-Reader that Nook owners can expect an email to arrive on April 1st, 2016 with a link to the Sainsbury’s migration portal and special instructions on how to transfer your purchased NOOK Books to a new or existing Sainsbury’s account. If you have not received the email or if your email has changed, please contact B&N via the Email Us link.
