The Vatican has announced that they are going to digitize hundreds of rare manuscripts for Qatar, relating to the Arabian Gulf and other Islamic regions. This scrolls are apart of the 8,000 manuscripts in the Vatican Library.
Digitization has been a priority for the Vatican in recent years. In 2014 the Vatican Apostolic Library begun to digitize 4,000 manuscripts, prints, drawings, plates and books printed prior to 1500 AD. The titles are all written throughout history by people who had different faiths or religions, from all over the world. All of the titles are available to download for free online.
