Fujitsu stated it is showcasing its Quaderno e-paper display at the CEATEC 2023 event now being held at Makuhari Messe. The CEATEC event started on October 10 and will run through October 17. Enthusiasts will get to have a first-hand experience of the Quaderno e-paper display which boasts of a very natural feel while writing, something that its makers claim is almost similar to what you get when writing on plain paper.
Fujitsu is hoping its Quaderno e-paper display will see greater adoption in the coming days as the adoption of paperless techniques gains momentum. Companies around the world are exploring alternate methodologies to reduce their carbon footprint, something that will require them to opt for devices such as e-notes featuring e-paper displays. Such devices are supposed to replace or reduce the use of physical papers, which means less stress on Mother Nature. The company is also claiming it will have ‘new usage proposals’ to share at the event.
Apart from having the look and feel of real paper, the other benefits of e-paper displays include its eye-friendly attribute. They cause the least stress to the eyes, which transforms into a more favorable working environment even if your work requires you to stare at a screen for long hours. Thanks to its excellent note-taking ability, you can easily write on the display itself as you would have on a real paper. However, unlike the latter, anything you write on e-paper displays can be saved or shared instantly.
You can do all of your writing on the device, which means tons of physical paper to be saved. Be it notes for your meetings, or draw illustrations, the Quaderno e-paper can be used to do it all. It can similarly be well suited for use by students and teachers alike. Being thin and light is another positive attribute so carrying it around or using the device is never a chore. Further, thanks to its ability to last more than a week on a single charge is another huge positive of the Quaderno e-paper display.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
