TCL CSOT has put up a significant presence at the TouchTaiwan 2025 event. As has been revealed in a Press Release, the company is showcasing several e-paper display solutions at the event that form part of its advanced Apex technology brand. Among the displays that are being showcased are those that are designed for use as a signage solution. Besides, there is also a display meant for use in an office environment, along with those for personal use.

For signage solutions, the display size ranges from 25.3-inch, 28.3-inch, 31.5-inch, 42-inch, and 75-inch. All of the displays are in full color and have a battery life of up to 18 months. Another way to look at it is that the display can sustain 3000 refreshes on a single full charge. As is already known, e-paper display only consumes power when the display refreshes, while requiring a minimal amount of power to sustain an image.

For connectivity, the display supports both wired and wireless options. They are compatible with both Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 4G technologies, while there is also a USB port for recharging as well as information exchange. This allows for enough flexibility in content management. With suitable apps, the content can be updated on a single or multiple devices simultaneously. Plus, the 28.3-inch model comes with new oxide technology, which ensures a faster refresh rate.

There is also the 9.7-inch E-paper Table Card on show. The Table Card is designed for use in the office and offers an impressive battery life of more than 6 months on a single charge. Content can be updated via Bluetooth or NFC connections using smartphones or PCs.

For personal use, TCL is offering the 13.3-inch E-Paper Photo Frame and 4-inch Electronic Paper Phone Case. Both offer a full color display, excellent battery life, and are soft on the eyes owing to the reflective nature of the display.

TCL is considered among the pioneers when it comes to advanced display technologies. The company produces LCD, OLED, and LLED displays, which have found application in a diverse range of devices which includes TVs, laptops, smartphones, tablets, commercial displays, and those used in automobiles. With the new range of Apex e-paper display solutions, the company is offering an eye-friendly display range that is low on power consumption while having a low carbon footprint.

More details awaited on the new TCL e-paper displays. Stay Tuned!

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
