Amazon has just released their Audible platform on Windows Phones running 7.5 or Mango. If you are an existing Audible user you can simply have all of your books synced to your device and new users can signup within the app. This new app is a total boon for everyone fiending for the latest audiobooks while on the go.
Amazons Audible App supports gesture controls, and it performs very well. You can tap your screen to pause a reading session, swipe to the right to skip forward 30 seconds, and swipe left for rewind. If you have never heard an Audible audiobook before, you will not be disappointed by their quality. The App also supports a widget that is on your home-screen that lets you go back to a book playing in the background or to access the app.
If you like Merit Badges, you are in luck! This app has all kind of achievements you can unlock and compare them with your friends. This download is completely free and you can sample books before you buy them. Most books have professional level quality in terms of narration and books are fairly affordable.
