Amazon will be discounting their entry level Fire Tablet from $50 to $35 on Prime Day. This is the first Amazon branded piece of hardware to have an official announcement before July 12th.
Prime Day this year not only will have Amazon branded products severely discounted, but they are hoping more of their re-sellers will be participating. In the week leading up to Prime Day, Amazon has been promoting “Countdown Deals” where they are discounting a number of products in advance.
Amazon is learning from their mistakes from last years Prime Day. The company has revised website and has promised big discounts on televisions and kids toys.
