The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 is going to be launching in Japan this March! This will be the first time any of the Kindle tablets will be making the trek and pre-orders are available right now. The 16 GB edition of the Fire HD 8.9 will cost you 24,800 yen or $269 US, or you can increase the memory to 32 GB for 29,800 yen or $323 US.
Japanese customers will be able to do business with their localized version of the Amazon store. There will be over 82,000 ebooks by bestselling authors and 26,000 comic books and graphic novels.
