Amazon is going to be releasing a new firmware update for the 10th generation Kindle, which is the Kindle Paperwhite 4. Within the next few days the 22.214.171.124 package will be pushed out via WIFI and it brings a slew of new features. Recommendations and tips will finally go live, this is a feature that Amazon was hyping when they first announced the e-reader. You will also be able to save your personalization and settings right from the main menu, instead of having to have an ebook open. Kindle Unlimited books can also be returned by long pressing on the title. The battery percentage will also be displayed as a numerical figure, to provide an indication on how much juice is remaining.
The 126.96.36.199 update is current housed on the Amazon servers, in a S3 bucket. It is not live for users yet, but if you fancy being an early adopter, the download link is HERE.
