Archos has just given people who own the 28/32/43/70 and 101 owners of their internet tablets a reason to get excited about, they have dispensed updated for all of those models to the newest version of Google Android operating system, 2.2
A number of welcome updates are now available for download and over the air updates. Some of the updates allow your Archos tablets to function up to 5 times faster, with their internal JIT compiler getting a make over.
Also, you now have enhanced Microsoft Exchange support, allowing you to now sync the calendar and contacts list. If you have a External bluetooth GPS receiver, your Archos now supports that as well.
Lots of other upgrades are going in with this iteration of Android, such as network slideshows, upgrades to the camera, faster USB transfers, audio enhancements and some fixes to the orientation.
