Welcome to another Good e-Reader Roundtable with Michael and Peter! Today they discuss the new Kindle that will be released in 2018 and the types of features that are realistic for Amazon to employ. It is very likely the company will offer different storage versions, so people can pay more money and have more internal storage for audiobooks and ebooks. The entry level Kindle has used an E-Ink Pearl display for over six years and it is time they adopt an E-Ink Carta screen, will this happen? Liquavista is a company Amazon has owned for awhile, but aside from hiring an executive team in China and the Netherlands no products have been released yet. Will a color kindle be in our future?
