A new e-book reader is in town – the iReader Ocean4 Turbo 2025. As eReaderPro reported, one of the biggest USP of the new iReader Ocean4 Turbo is its 7-inch E Ink Carta 1300 monochrome display having 1680 x 1264 pixels 300 PPI display resolution. This ensures sharp and clear visuals, be it texts or images. Apart from increased contrast and screen refresh times characteristic of the Carta 1300 display, the Ocean 4 Turbo 2025 also benefits from the newly upgraded HSOT light-scattering polymer light guide plate, which leads to a vastly improved spread of the screen light source.

The ComfortLight Pro+ feature ensures the screen remains illuminated according to the ambient lighting condition. The i-Clean 2.0 refresh technology, which allows quick elimination of all residual images from past displays, must also be mentioned. Then there is also the i-Display 2.0+ technology, which, together with an independent display chip, ensures faster refresh times and can reach an incredible 30 frames per second refresh rate in the highest speed setting. This is incredible because e-paper displays usually max out at 10 – 12 fps.

The e-reader’s looks follow the same basic layout, including an asymmetrical build reminiscent of the Kindle Oasis. The thick right spine hosts the physical page-turn buttons. It measures 4 mm at its thinnest point and weighs 179 grams. The e-reader also boasts a 7mm rounded R-angle design, which makes the design all the more ergonomic.

As for its specifications, the Ocean4 Turbo 2025 features a 2.0GHz quad-core processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of storage. Power comes from a 2000 mAh battery, which allows for 16 days of standby time and 39 hours of reading time. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4/5.0 GHz Wi-Fi wireless connectivity. There is also a built-in microphone and speaker. There is also a gravity sensor onboard. The e-reader comes in color options of Interstellar black and Arctic white.

The Ocean 4 Turbo starts at 1,599 yuan, which is about USD220. The e-reader can be ordered via JD.com or the iReader official store.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
