The iReader Ocean 4 Turbo 2025 e-reader has just been leaked online, ITHome reported. The company though has not revealed the complete details, which include the all-important launch schedule. It is not known when the new Ocean 4 Turbo 2025 is going to be launched though what is amply clear is that it is going to happen soon enough.

Among the scarce bits of information about the upcoming e-reader that is available right now is that it will sport an E Ink Carta 1300 display this time. The black-and-white display will have a 300 PPI resolution, which is the same as its predecessor. However, with a Carta 1300 display this time, expect faster page refresh times and enhanced levels of clarity.

For reference, the iReader Ocean 4 Turbo launched last year comes with a 7-inch Carta 1200 display. It features a 2.0 GHz quad-core processor and comes with a 4 GB + 64 GB memory and storage configuration. The e-reader also boasts i-Clean instant, precise technology that ensures system-level residual image elimination. This. iReader says, allows for the elimination of 99.9 percent of residual images in HD refresh mode in dark mode scenes.

Another highlight of the Ocean 4 Turbo e-reader is its custom GPU which together with the AI dynamic refresh tech lets it achieve a system-level refresh rate of 30 frames per second at its highest speed setting. This allows for quick and smooth page refresh times thereby leading to high quality display every time. The ComfortLight Pro feature offers 30-level warm and cold temperature control settings.

Power comes from a 2000 mAh battery which iReader said will have a standby time of 44 days. It measures just 4mm at its thinnest point while at 175 grams, it is quite on the lighter side as well. It runs SmartOS 2.2 which allows for the installation of third-party apps in the form of APK files.

With the Ocean 4 Turbo also coming with some impressive specs, it remains to be seen what the 2025 Ocean 4 Turbo is going to be like. Stay tuned.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
