Welcome to another installment of the Good e-Reader Nighttime Reading Tests! Today we are showing you the Barnes and Noble Simple Touch Reader with Glowlight vs. the Kobo Glo! These are currently the only commercially viable products that give you the ability to read in any lighting conditions.
During our tests we give you the hardware differences between both devices and show you the core reading experience. It is important to note that the Simple Touch with Glow has been on the market for over a year. Only now do we see Kobo and Amazon catching up and the differences are quite striking! This video clearly demonstrates the Kobo model has a superior advantage. Check out the video for the results of our extensive tests with both e-readers.
