Officemax locations in the United States will begin carrying the highly successful line of Barnes and Noble e-readers at the end of the month.
The company announced today that they will be selling the Barnes and Noble Simple Touch Reader and the Nook Color starting July 30th. The company joins Walmart, Staples, and other big box retailers carrying the Nook product line.

The Barnes and Noble Nook line of e-readers continue to be one of the most popular devices to read ebooks in the USA. Officemax will start carrying them at over 1000 locations by the end of the month. Currently the Nook taps into the B&N ecosystem, which not only has books, but also magazines and newspapers. The Simple Touch Reader was released only a few months ago and has been a runaway success, while the Nook Color has been selling well since the end of last year.
