The Onyx Boox Nova and Poke will be released on November 8th to the 10th and pre-orders are now available from Good e-Reader. The Kobo Forma is also available to be shipped out immediately and customers can have it shipped out anywhere in the world. We decided to carry the Forma in the Good e-Reader Store because it has limited global availability.
The Onyx Boox Nova is one of the most eagerly anticipated e-readers of the year and will retail for $279.99. It will be the first Onyx branded device released this year that is purely aimed at consumers and serious readers. It is available right now for pre-order and will be released on November 8-10 2018.
The Nova features a 7.8 E-Ink Carta HD screen with a resolution of 1872×1404 and 300PPI. Underneath the hood is a 1.6GHZ quad core processor, which is the same one that the Onyx Boox Note employs. There is 32GB of storage, 2GB of RAM, USB-C, 2800 mAh battery and Android 6.0. You will be able to read in the dark via the frontlit display and it also has a color temperature system.
Onyx Boox is going to release the first six inch quad-core e-reader and it is called the Poke and it is going to retail for $159.99 This device features 6 inch E-Ink Carta HD display with a resolution of 1072×1448 with 300 PPI. Underneath the hood is a 1.2 GHZ quad core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 2500 mAh battery, USB-C and according to the 2019 Onyx Boox catalog it says it is running Android 4.4. It has a front-lit display and a color temperature system.
The brand new Kobo Forma e-reader is available from Good e-Reader and ships worldwide for $379.99. This device is waterproof and dustproof and features a giant 8 inch screen. It is ideal for reading ebooks or catching up with your favorite manga or PDF file. The Forma is compatible with Overdrive and Pocket, so you can easily borrow ebooks from the public library or read blog articles.
