The latest must-have device to hit us seems to be the smart new age tablet computers. Based on smartphone operating systems, these Tablet PCs are currently the lollipops that every gadget lover is craving for and it seems that makers of the BlackBerry too is keen to join the scene. So as per the latest news, Research in Motion is in the process of making a tablet that’s likely to have an 8.9-inch display screen.
Also, as is common with every to-be released tablet, almost everything about the new offering from BlackBerry is shrouded in mystery and murk.
So its still unclear if the new slate is going to run any version of the BlackBerry OS or any other operating system. Also, not much is known if the apps that have been created for the BlackBerry handsets will be there for the tablet as well. However, what can be assumed is that the tablet will most probably allow synchronization of data with a BlackBerry smartphone by means of Wi-Fi or 3G network.
The Hon Hai Precision Industry will most probably supply the display of the upcoming tablet. Interestingly, it is the same company that also makes the display for the iPad. Also if rumors are to be believed, the tablet will not be ready for launch before the second half of 2010. Expected price too is yet unknown.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
