The Sony Reader PRS-T1 has received some major price reductions in the last few weeks. It is commonly available in the USA at most Sony Stores and online for $129.99, and in Canada at $149. Today the B&H Superstore is now offering the reader for a paltry $89.99 online.
Honestly, at this price I would recommend buying this. The Sony Reader WIFI is the only current offering from Sony. The thing I love about it is that you can borrow books from Overdrive supported libraries directly on it. You can browse and download books right to your reader, making the entire process super easy. It also has access to the Google Books ecosystem to download millions of free and paid books. Finally, you can do business with the Sony Bookstore directly and purchase books.
This was one of my favorite devices of 2011 so far, and if you are in the market for a cheap and cheerful present for yourself or others, check it out HERE.
