Sony has been kind enough to open up its PlayStation store to tablet PCs running Android. However, the only requisite being that the tablet will have to be PlayStation certified and that cuts short the excitement to just one tablet PC, Tablet S, as of now. For a sum of $5.99 per game one gets access to the following games, which are now available for the Playstation one game console:
• Cool Boarders
• Destruction Derby
• Hot Shots Golf 2
• Jet Moto
• Jet Moto 2
• Jumping Flash!
• MediEvil
• Motoro Toon Grand Prix
• Rally Cross
• Wild Arms
Certainly not the most impressive list of games, but there will surely be more additions to it in the future. “Sony is working closely with developers around the globe to expand the variety of PlayStation games and content accessible on the Sony Tablet S and future PlayStation Certified devices.”
The service is currently available from nine countries and that includes Canada and the US. For the Tablet S users, Sony is going to push a notification which would enable them to connect and download the PlayStation Store to their respective devices.
There is, however, other options like the PSXDroid or FPSe, which are merely Playstation emulators that one can install on their device. Once installed, one can rip the Playstation game from the discs and use the PSOne ROM to play the game on their devices.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
