As per the latest e-reader news that we have, Japanese electronics major Fujitsu has brought to the fore their new e-reader that boasts of a color display. The e-reader that the company revealed is believed to be a prototype of their latest offering in this segment, an ultra slim color e-reader. No details or tech specs were made available during the launch event.
The earlier e-reader Fujitsu had come out with about a year ago had a 768×1024 display and 260,000 color reproduction. Flepia’s, as the e-reader is named, is equipped with a touch sensitive screen and requires a stylus as the primary interactive tool. Flepia also has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, but then, all of these came at a price, a cool $1000. However, the Flepia never made the journey to North America and its also unlikely the new e-reader will also remain alien to America. But then, it can be the precursor of what to expect from Fujitsu next in the e-reader segment. Also, in light of Flepia’s impressive tech specs, it perhaps will be safe to assume that the new e-reader is likely to be a state-of-the-art device with many technical innovations to boast of.
For that however, one will have to wait for the official launch which is going to happen sometime later this year.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
