Pocketbook has just released the Touch Lux 4 Limited Edition. The big selling point behind this e-reader is the unibody gold trim. It looks really good and stands out in the crowd, the original Touch Lux came in three colors, but always had a different color trim and the back was black. The new Lux also has a custom case that Pocketbook developed just for this reader, but it is blue. It also comes with a free gift box, if you want to give this to someone for Christmas.
The Pocketbook Touch 4 Limited Edition is the exact same as the regular Touch Lux 4 that came out in late 2018. It features a six inch E Ink Carta display with a resolution of 1024×758 and uses a capacitive touchscreen. It has a front-lit display, packing in higher quality LED lights than previous models, although it does not have a color temperature system.
Underneath the hood is a Allwinner A13 single core 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There is a MICROSD support for an additional 32GB of storage. If you max out the SD, you should have room for over 3,000 ebooks.
I really like the color scheme of this new e-reader, it looks sexy as hell. This is almost worth the extra $30 you will pay, over the regular model. I think the free case alone, makes it a good deal. You can buy this for $139 from the Good e-Reader Store.
