The Dell Streak 7 never could set the sales chart on fire, but there is also no denying the fact that the Dell 7 incher is better than many out there. This time, the Android 2.2 tablet is in the news again as Dell has started selling unlocked version of the Streak 7 so that the sim free version of the Dell tablet can be yours for $449. However, that’s not the only striking aspect with the Streak 7, as the tablet is now also compliant with HSPA+ connectivity.
The rest of the specs remain largely the same so that the Streak 7 will continue to sport the same 1.3 and 5 megapixel camera integrated along the front and rear of the tablet. On-board storage will be 16 GB while providing the juice will be the 2780 mAh that already hasn’t proved to be too reliable under heavy usage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab, in comparison, comes equipped with a 4000 mAh power source. Also, the display continues to be dismal with just 800 x 480 pixel resolution which can be the single most degrading feature of the tablet, which otherwise boasts of decent performance on the back of its Tegra 2 heart.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
