Amazon us pushing out a new firmware update for their Fire Tablets that will finally allow users to store e-books on the SD Card. This will be tremendously useful for people who have a large PDF and e-book collection and find themselves running out of internal memory.
One of the big benefits about the new 5.2.7.1 update is you can store anything you buy or download directly from Amazon on the SD card.
The 5.2.7.1 update is being sent out to users via a staggered release. Not everyone will be able to download it right away, but you should receive a notification sometime in the next few weeks.
