There is a new visual storytelling app that just became available on Android named Storehouse. It allows you to add up to 50 photos and video and make a collage that will make story boarding very simple. There are a few apps like this on the market already but this one won Apple’s Design Award for its efforts on iOS and the TechCrunch Best Mobile App award in 2014.
Storehouse is first and foremost a content creation tool for you to create your own stories using only your android device. You also can add text, which allows you to tell your story in words as well as pictures. Getting content into Storehouse is easy — you can import from your iOS Photo Library, Dropbox, Flickr or Instagram.
I think this app would be an invaluable tool for authors who are the midst of writing a book and want to make reference to places they have personally visited or compile researched photos from a wide array of networks. Most authors contain their narrative in a specific location, but it helps flesh out the character if you can accurately describe a different locale.
