The Amazon Prime Day event might be a little over two weeks away though the company is already offering a deal on its flagship Kindle device that could be hard to ignore. The Scribe can now be bought for a flat $200 discount though the offer is only applicable on the Scribe Essentials Bundle. As per the deal, you can have the 64 GB version of the Kindle Scribe along with the Premium Pen, brush print leather folio cover done up in a shade of Storm Grey, along with the power adapter all for $329. That’s $200.97 less than the usual pricing of $529.97.
You also have the option to save another 20 percent if you wish to trade in an old Kindle device that you may have. You can also opt to pay a monthly $23.92 over a period of 18 months to avail of the offer. You end up paying more with the latter option but it is the best thing to do if you don’t have the full amount to spare right away.
The above no doubt is a nice deal that you might not want to let go of if you have been looking for a large-screen e-reader device with note-taking abilities. The Kindle Scribe excels in this respect and is one of the best out there though, as with all Kindle devices, you remain locked into the Amazon ecosystem. That is unlike the clutch of competing e-note devices running Android that lets you have more options when it comes to the apps that you wish to run.
That said, coming as it does close to Prime Day, it could be a hard choice to make – whether to avail of this offer or wait till Prime Day in the hope of a better deal. Prime Day 2024 will be live on July 16th and 17th.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
