E-reader companies know that women buy the most books, including e-books. Many reports put this at anywhere from 64% to over 70% of all purchases. When Mother’s Day rolls around yearly, Rakuten Kobo runs a series of sales promotions on its website. They are currently offering the Libra Colour for $20.00 off and the Elipsa 2e $50.00 for Canadian Residents.

Kobo isn’t running any deals yet for US residents on their website, but this is subject to change in the next few days. However, Kobo is running a promotion on Amazon for $20 off the Libra Colour in the black body or the white one. The Elipsa 2e is 10% off and can be yours today for $349.99. Canadians have no such deals yet on the Amazon.ca website.

Internationally, Kobo is running the same deals for customers in the United Kingdom and other European countries if you buy from their website. Deals on Amazon aren’t all there yet, but they should be marketing down the list price sometime in the next few days.
