The BOOX Go Color 7 is an impressive piece of e-reader hardware and comes with a nice set of specs. It has also been a while since the Go Color 7 has been available to buy. Buyers however complained the white version hasn’t been available in sizeable numbers and was sold out quickly. However, the good news here is that the white model is back in stock though with a caveat. As a Reddit post revealed, the same is applicable only if you select the Hong Kong warehouse. If you opt for the US warehouse, your options are limited to only the black model.
As it stands, the new Go Color 7 is quite a looker with its appearance being particularly striking in a white shade. The black version, on the other hand, is a lot more conventional and may even come across as somewhat dull in comparison. The white version has a sense of freshness to it and looks a lot more dynamic compared to the black one. Unfortunately, those in the US will have to make do with only the black model, at least as of now.
The Go Color 7 otherwise comes with a 7-inch Kaleido 3 Carta 1200 screen having 300 PPI black-and-white and 150 PPI color resolution. The front light feature allows for warm and cold temperature controls. On the other side of it lies a 2.4 GHz Octa-core processor that works in tandem with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM. It supports 2.4GHz + 5GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity. There is also the USB-C port for wired data transfer or for recharging the 2300 mAh battery that it comes with.
The e-reader runs Android 12 and allows for the installation of third-party apps. It supports a wide range of e-books, image, and audiobook formats. Sensors onboard include G-sensor for Auto Rotation. Other features of the Go Color 7 include physical page turn buttons, a microSD card slot, integrated speakers, and a microphone. It measures 156 x 137 x 6.4 mm and weighs 195 grams.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
