Onyx Boox will release a new e-reader sometime in the next few months. The Boox Go 6 product will feature a six-inch E INK screen with 300 PPI. It will likely replace the Poke 5, which came out last year. Onyx has just filed an FCC application and was granted the filing, but all of the tech specs are under embargo.
There is precious information available, which is typical. We know it will have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, internal storage, and enough battery power to last a few weeks on a single charge. This device will be a typical e-book reader designed to read books, comics, manga, and webtoons. It will likely have Android 13 or Android 14 at launch and full access to the Google Play Store. Price-wise, I think it will be available for $159.99 to compete against the Kindle and Kobo Clara BW.
