Remarkable has announced that on June 13th, 2025, they will push out a software update for the Remarkable 2 and the Remarkable Paper Pro. This update will introduce the German language for the entire device, making it easier to capture, refine, and organize their thoughts more mindfully. Remarkable will also launch a new localized website on the same date, making it easier to purchase.

The update will be released with software version 3.20. German speakers can select their language in the device settings, allowing menu navigation, tools, and core interactions in German. A beta version of the software has been available since mid-May.

Introducing German into our offering is part of our mission to help people think better — many naturally think better in their mother tongue,” said Phil Hess, CEO of Remarkable. “And it’s part of our broader effort to bring our unique paper tablets to many more who share our vision of more focused digital tools.”
