The Blackberry Priv, is the first phone to run Google Android. The phone is going to be released first soon and Blackberry is giving us a taste of what the app experience will be like. The Waterloo company has just uploaded six apps to Google Play, which include a customized launcher and a new virtual keyboard.
If you are completely unaware the Priv will use Google Play, instead of Amazons app store. The reason why Blackberry uploaded their apps to Play is so they can keep their core services updated regularly, without having to constantly push out firmware updates. The apps listed below cannot be installed on your existing Android device, they are flagged Priv only.
- BlackBerry Launcher
- BlackBerry Keyboard
- BlackBerry Services
- Password Keeper
- BlackBerry Camera
- DTEK by BlackBerry
