Although it was only a few weeks ago that we reported that Blackberry placed an engineering order for around 100 touch screens from a Chinese company but new rumors have now surfaced on some new details regarding the eagerly anticipated Blackberry BlackPad Tablet PC.
According an Analyst Ashok Kumar with Rodman & Renshaw the Blackberry Tablet will have a 1 GHZ Processor and a 7 inch multi-touchscreen and featuring 2 cameras, one on the back and one on the front. The Cameras are so far from an unnamed supplier.
Rather than depend on a BlackBerry smartphone to get its connection, it would also have its own 3G cellular chip provided by Marvell, it will also have WI-FI. The choice of supplier may hint that Marvell is supplying the 1 GHZ processor.
The Cameras are rumored to be 5 MP, and will have a video conferencing app available to further enhance Blackberry’s mandate to appeal to the corporate and business world.
